Churchill High School Tour

The Grade 9's enjoyed their high school Open House tour today. Students had the opportunity to meet SWC staff and get a preview of all the option and extracurricular activities being offered. Churchill High School Presentation

Students heard a presentation from Churchill High School today. Students had the opportunity to meet some staff from Student Services share the process for transitioning to Grade 10; course selection; available options; and language programs. Students had the opportunity to ask questions and clarify their understanding of Grade 10 programming. Moreover, students had the opportunity to meet Principal Mr.Rajan. Students heard a presentation from Robert Thirsk High School today. Students had the opportunity to hear from former students and listen to their experiences. Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) Presentation

Today students had a presentation to learn about the Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP). The Registered Apprenticeship Program (RAP) is an Alberta Education program that allows high school students to begin their apprenticeship training while going to high school. The Registered Apprenticeship Program is a program for high school students in Grade 10, 11 or 12 throughout Alberta. RAP students begin with a 125-hour internship with an employer in one of over 50 registered trades.
