Justice Conference

Today all students had the opportunity to participate in a Justice Conference. Objective of the conference was to allow students to get an overview of the Justice System and make connections with what they have been learning about with Youth Justice. The presenters included:

  • Elizabeth Fry Society
  • Calgary Young Offenders Centre
  • Aboriginal Learning Leader: Stacey Mee
  • School Resource Officer: Constable Jones

Bowness High School Presentation

All Grade 9 students had the opportunity to attend a presentation from the Bowness High School staff. Students were able to hear about the Options available and what the transition might look like for them in Grade 10.
